Dear fellow cyclers:
I am a recent member of the coalition, but I also belong the Comox Valley Transition Town, a group dedicated to community resiliency in the near term and after the end of peak oil, that is, when infrastructure really will require adjustment. I am wondering if there could/should be a productive liaison between the two groups as it seems there is much in common. Anyone wishing to discuss this idea may phone me at 250-339-0906 or, of course, email me. Thanks. --Richard

Hello. My friends and i built that trail out in cumberland, including the jump in question. we are sorry if the jump is in the wrong spot or needs to be removed/changed. Could you give me the contact information of someone i could talk to in order to fix this problem.

rode Blue Collar today, yes it's mowed down on the upper, but it is actually still rideable. it almost seems like the loggers tried not to completely obliterate the trail with the machines, so we should appreciate that. logging isn't pretty, but there are different ways of looking at it. those beautiful Douglas firs, make gorgeous, structural wood, that we all like in the buildings we spend time in.

Your life was way too short. We only met a few times in the summer of 2010 yet it's difficult for me to remember a time before I knew you. -R.I.P. Blue Collar

Hey Wandering Justin!
Check out the RAM mounts for handlebar mounts, they have tons of modular mounts that interact with the camera thread on the camera itself!
Ciao!

I do like the middle mounting for this reason. balances the weight. It's not as light as a GoPro but for the versatility it's pretty solid.

Found a helmet tripod mount from Photojojo.com but don't see it there anymore.

No extended moving parts is a good feature. But to be really good for mountain biking, it's gotta be easily adaptable to handlebar, camera or chest mounts. That's where the real fun of a digital camera comes in - movies on the fly!
