The only reason the GoPro was not included was the cameras listed were digital cameras first and foremost. The lens optics of the GoPro are severely limited compared to any digital point and shoot.

As a second camera, for sure the HeroHD is great bang for the buck.

True that it does come in a good range of sizes, but there is definitely a benefit for bigger riders on bigger wheels.

Nice write up, although the point of this bike only benefiting taller riders is a bit misleading, and definitely fuels the common misconception that 29ers are only for taller riders. The Altitude 29er goes as small as a 16" frame, with 27" standover height, meaning it can fit really small riders just as well as most full suspension bikes (standover on the smallest size Altitude 29er compared to the smallest size standard Altitude is less than 1/2") .

The benefits of the 29" wheel, namely easier rolling and better traction on climbs and corners, are there regardless of the size of the rider, so with the exception of very short riders (under 5'3" or so), the choice of whether or not to choose a 29er should be more about riding style than about size.
